Last updated: Tuesday March 9, 2010 2:42PM
Norm Boardman will be delivering the first Football Federation Victoria (FFV) Coaches Association (FFVCA) Coach Education Seminar for 2010.
Boardman is Football Federation Australia's (FFA) National Community Coach Education Manager, and is a former Technical Director at Football NSW.
Boardman has just completed rolling out the new community coaching courses across Australia, and will be in Melbourne on Monday March 22nd to discuss the pathway for community coaches, providing an opportunity for everyone to gain a greater insight of the new structure in community coach education.
The changes in coach education have allowed greater accessibility to coaching courses and provided a clearer direction to those involved in community coaching. Boardman will be discussing these changes in greater detail, outlining the benefits of the new system.
The workshop will take place at FFV's offices at Level 3, 436 St Kilda Road, Melbourne, from 7pm on March 22nd. Please note, places are strictly limited to FFVCA members.
Coaches are reminded that membership to the FFVCA can be gained by simply coaching a team in a FFV competition and being accredited in the appropriate age group.
